I direct and manage all outgoing IT communications for the HR department at NIH. This includes serving over 25,000 NIH employees with the latest news and information concerning business, IT, and analytics tools to improve their day-to-day work. I lead the strategy and implementation of the HR organization's communications and branding. I manage a team of 10+ staff that conducts outreach and provides communications items to Institutes and Centers (ICs) across NIH. I am the lead videographer, and I have produced over 100 videos that have reached over 38,000 views over the course of 8 years, informing and promoting HR systems and tools for NIH employees. In the last year, I've created and led a Change Management Community of Practice, formed to establish best practices and expand HR's knowledge base in the discipline. This is especially important in my division, where HR technologies and innovation are constantly evolving. I also lead HR SAID's efforts in Customer Experience (CX). As CX lead, I measure our CX maturity and implement strategies to improve our CX rating. This is a way of ensuring customer satisfaction as well as evolving as a business to better serve the dynamic customers of NIH. In addition to my many responsibilities, I moderate and manage focus groups with customers, which have provided high quality feedback that has changed policy, improved websites and tools, and cultivated strong customer relationships. I represent HR and present on the latest IT news and updates to senior officials across NIH multiple times per month. A key part of my role is to interpret and breakdown verbose technical language so that customers and partners can fully grasp the benefits of the latest tool or technology. I write and manage email campaigns, publish and write for our organization's newsletter, manage, edit, and design our company's website, and advise senior leadership on the best CX, communications and change management tactics.

I teach once per week at Saints Peter and Paul, instructing middle-school students on writing best practices, philosophy, theology, and other unique topics.
