Upon a successful project estimate, it is my responsibility to help with project budgets and the construction timetable for the client. I lead the development of each project's construction strategy, and select the subcontractors and suppliers to be used for each project. Coordinating and collaborating with the architects, engineers and other specialists, I help ensure the construction project complies with all legal or regulatory requirements.As a project continues, I work closely with Site Superintendents to monitor construction progress, including worker productivity and compliance with building and safety codes. I schedule materials and equipment to the job site, set project goals, and resolve problems that may arise.At project conclusion, I work diligently to wrap up all loose ends and fulfill the project scope as planned.

Assisted in the management of over 90+ projects at Korte & Luitjohan Contractors, ranging up to more than $40,000,000. At any one time, I worked under the direction of (7) different Project Managers, while balancing their varying methods and styles with a consistent organizational method and management style. My professional abilities were regularly tested with new and varied tasks including: website design/maintenance; generating effective project proposals; constructing new marketing devices; customer relationship management; creating company policy frameworks; etc. Working hard to improve the workplace environment, I stayed involved and up-to-date in leadership training and workshops.My daily duties at K&L included supporting project start-ups and close-outs; subcontract administration; change orders; scheduling; submittal processing; purchase orders; material tracking; estimating/bidding assistance; and architectural design work among others.

Took part in planning and designing architectural and structural drawings for several commercial projects, churches, and government projects using AutoCAD 2007. Worked heavily in the design of site plans, floor plans, elevations, ceiling plans, roof plans, interior elevations and schedules; as well as the design of structural drawings while working on foundation plans, cross sections, framing plans, and details. From pre-existing 2-dimensional maps, I developed 3-dimensional models of sub-surface features in multiple oil fields from within the Illinois Basin using both Didger 3 and Surfer 8 software. Displayed results in various methods, including: isoline maps and sections, shaded reliefs, vector maps, wireframes, and surface models. Presented results at the Kentucky Academy of Sciences, and took first place in the Undergraduate Research category of Geology.

Directly responsible for the overall growth and development of approximately 100 residential college students. Planned and implemented a variety of educational and social programs, as well as provided assistance and guidance to residents.Provided security for entire residential colleges while taking care of any concerns throughout the buildings.
