During my time at Alamo I was responsible for multiple locations spanning up to three states at once. I was responsible for budgeting, oversight of the store locations, and managing the salesforce to ensure our growth objectives were achieved and customer service levels were second to none for all of the "off-airport" locations handling primarily insurance replacement rentals in our area. We consistently rated as one of the top Districts in the company during this period. Our Lafayette, Kenner, Baton Rouge South, and Alexandria locations achieved the #1, 2, 4, and 6th ranked stores respectively in the country based on their market sizes and were all recognized as President's Distinguished locations. The entire Division encompassing approximately 500 locations was dissolved in late 2002 by ANC Rental Corporation as the car rental industry was impacted by the events of September 2001. I had an amazing team of salespeople and managers and have always considered this the most fun place I ever worked. It was a great experience for which I am truly thankful!
