Responsible for animation and live action development and production for Nickelodeon International and VIS KIDS, the kids and family studio arm. Working closely with creators, artists and producers worldwide to identify and develop IP in key regional territories in collaboration with ViacomCBS’ regional teams. Nickelodeon International, a part of the London-based ViacomCBS Networks International hub, oversees international content development and co-production partnerships for Nickelodeon outside of the US. This global focus allows Nickelodeon International to seek out new production models and engage with animation studios and production companies from across the globe to produce shows such as Hunter Street and Nella the Princess KnightAs a senior leader, my key responsibilities include identifying, developing and executive oversight of major new titles for Nickelodeon’s international and US platforms.

Beano Studios was established in 2016 to develop the iconic brands and characters of the Beano comic for new audiences globally - across digital, TV, film and theatre. Responsibilities included leading the development and production teams for long form television, film and theatre productions for Beano’s existing cast of characters as well as developing new formats for a range of new platforms.

ABC Television is Australia’s pre-eminent broadcaster for young Australians offering over 30 hours of content daily across two dedicated linear children’s channels, ABC ME and ABC KIDS and the iview VOD services and apps.As the Commissioning Editor for Children's content, I was a senior member of the ABC Children's TV management team, with editorial, financial and production management responsibilities across pre-school and school-age commissioned, co-produced and pre-bought content. I devised and implemented a successful animation strategy for the school age audience and contributed to the overall content strategy for the ABC's two children's brands ABC 3 / ABC ME and ABC KIDS. As Exec Producer for the content I commissioned, I identified and secured Australian and international IP and oversaw the development, commissioning and production of top rated and award winning live action and animated series including Bluey, The Deep, Doodles (2016 International Emmy Kids nomination for Best Digital), So Awkward (2016 Broadcast Award for Best Children’s Programme; 2016 BAFTA Children's nomination for Best Comedy), Secret Life of Boys (2016 BAFTA Children's nomination for Best Interactive), The Flamin' Thongs (2014 AACTA Award for Best Children’s Television Series), The New Adventures of Figaro Pho (2015 AACTA nomination for Best Children’s TV Series), Get Grubby TV (2014 Green Guide Couch Potato Award for Best Preschoolers' Show, 2015 Directors Guild Award) and Dukes of Broxstonia (2013 SPA Award for Best Children's Production)

HIT Entertainment is one of the world's leading children's entertainment producers and rights-owners, with successful global brands including Thomas and Friends, Bob the Builder and Mike the Knight.As part of the senior Production & Programming team, I was responsible for identifying, developing and producing new content with third party creators and producers. My initial responsibility was to implement a new development strategy for the company. The first project, Mike the Knight, HiT’w first new IP in over 5 years, went into production shortly after I successfully pitched and secured funding for the show within the first 18 months. As Executive Producer, I oversaw the production of the first series of 52 x 11 episodes with a further two series and specials produced. Mike the Knight has won a number of awards including the 2015 International Children's Emmy for Best Pre-School Series. I also oversaw the development of a number of other shows which have since proceeded to financing, including Ruff Ruff, Tweet & Dave and Circle Square.Additional key responsibilities included:- Strategic development and day to day management of extensive development slate.- Facilitated and maintained relationships with key commercial lines of business.- Managed multi-million dollar development budget.- Worked closely with third party creators and producers, ensuring the optioned projects met HIT values.- Steered cross-company communication about new content development to all lines of business and management, including briefings with the CEO, COO and board of investors.

Responsible for the inventory management of the BBC's flagship CBeebies acquisitions slate.Aside from sourcing and securing third party programming, I also acted as the BBC's Executive Producer for a number of animated series including Charlie & Lola, 3rd & Bird, Octonauts, Harry & Toto, Postman Pat - SDS, Chuggington, Guess with Jess and Timmy TimeI also worked closely with the internal production teams, CBeebies Radio, CBeebies Online and CBBC Acquisitions.

Responsible for the inventory management, scheduling and compliance of 'off the shelf' and pre-sold acquired content for pre-school and school age audiences. Reviewed programmes at various stages of development and production for potential acquisition and co-production. Acted as the BBC's Programme Executive on a number of animated and live action acquired content, including Mortified, The Large Family, Eliot Kid, Skunk Fu!, Lunar Jim, Yvon of the Yukon, Boo!, Little Red Tractor, Postman Pat and Little Robots.

Responsibilities included compliance on bought in content; scheduling; stock management; new content assessment.

Worked across all live and pre-recorded BBC TV channels, caching content and maintaining accurate tx times.

Part of the inaugural EPG team, creating billing information and user testing software for the fledgling Electronic Programme Guide.
