My Mission: Positively impact everyone I encounter. Helping others is my passion. It gets me out of bed every day. As a kid, my parents would tell me about my unique ability to understand how others were feeling. They noticed how I would always try to help the individual by supporting them with what I felt they needed. This ability to identify a need is a gift I need to share with everyone. I’ve transitioned this innate gift into a career. My job is being the conduit connecting candidates with hiring managers to obtain careers better suited for their personal and professional aspirations. After spending 16 years in the recruitment world, I’ve realized there is a lot of room for improvement. Why do most people have such a bad experience when looking for a new job? I mean, doesn’t the interview process feel like dating? Ambiguity, misdirection, fear of the unknown, communication delays, emotional outbursts and disappointment are usually part of the interviewing process, and everyone assumes these issues are part of the recruitment game. It doesn’t have to be this way! The question we need to ask ourselves is, “How do we fix the recruitment industry”? Answer: We build a foundation for our relationship nurtured with honesty, transparency, respect, responsiveness and integrity.
