Snowboarding changed the course of my life 🏂🏻 and I've only ever done it once.1 broken (in half) collarbone and a trip to the orthopaedic surgeon landed me with a metal plate, 6 screws, and a whole lot of numbness in my shoulder.I had planned to join the military but now they didn't want me. DOD Surgeon General said nope, you're a liability now. No thanks.So I was forced to pivot, and if I could go back I wouldn't change a thing. 11 years in the Out of Home Industry has been a ride. My favorite part? Meeting and collaborating with new people. Marketing leaders, agency founders, media teams, colleagues.It's hard to beat the feeling of seeing a campaign you worked on live in the world. Billboards, Wallscapes, Wrapped Ubers, 3D Chalk Art, the list goes on.Yes, it's an old school format. A bit antiquated. But did you know it's measurable?Track performance? Fo' sho'.Audience targeting? Yep.Can be bought programmatically? Mhmm.Day parting, flexible flighting, audience data and behavioral profiles, retargeting across digital channels.It's a whole new world in OOH. So give me a shout if you'd like to get outdoors and engage with people in the real word.PS for the record, I'm not writing off snowboarding. I had a blast. Was just a bit over ambitious in terms of my capabilities after a 30 minute lesson on a bunny hill 😅
