Chris Scheib is the Owner of Scheib Financial.​ Chris'​ career as a financial advisor began in April of 1987, six months before "Black Monday," the largest single-day crash in market history. This turned out to be a grand lesson in patience and market recovery.However, his real career began at age eight, when he became a self-employed businessman by running the Scheib family chicken farm in rural Iowa. He was allowed to sell the extra eggs, but he quickly learned two lessons: First, that you cannot keep everything you earn--the chickens had to eat and needed care. And second, that a part of everything you earn is yours to keep. This marked the development of his signature 50% rule: half of your profit must be reinvested and the remaining half is for you to enjoy. By following this principle, he bought his first car outright at age 17, a beautiful 1974 Pontiac LeMans Sport Coupe, by writing a personal check from his own earnings. This laid the foundation for living a debt-free, stress-free life. He specializes in helping families meet their financial goals on time--from living within their means and paying off debt to college savings and retirement--ultimately learning for themselves how to live a more enjoyable, stress-free life.Today Chris also trains new advisors at Scheib Financial, and his unmistakable rally cry can be heard throughout the office celebrating every win.
