My job responsibilities included the design of wireless voice and data networks using the latest cutting edge computer modeling software. I used AutoCAD LT to create detailed engineering documents to be used in the construction of wireless networks. I was responsible for the oversight of wireless networks nationwide and provide upper level support to the field crews operating in those networks.

As a Systems Engineer I worked directly with the CTO, President, Senior Systems Engineers, and Sales Department to consult, design, install, and support the companies services and product strategies. Specific tasks included telecommunications consulting, pre and post sales support, RF coverage analysis, implementation engineering, equipment installation, and troubleshooting.

As a Data Systems Engineer, I worked with senior management to design and implement call routing solutions for inbound call centers nation wide. I operated Nortel Meridian 1 PBX and Cisco VoIP phone systems and their associated equipment. I provided customer support for all technical issues related to the phone system and call routing. As lead technician I managed and trained other technicians in the completion of their job tasks.

I served in the US Army as a Multichannel Transmissions Systems Operator/Maintainer. As part of my responsibilities I operated, maintained, installed, and troubleshot radio systems that used FM line of sight VHF, UHF, and SHF systems. I utilized technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and advanced troubleshooting techniques. I installed, operated, and maintained various radio systems including Line of Sight (LOS), SINCGARS, and Remote Access Unit (RAU). I was promoted to the rank of Specialist and put in charge of my own communications team where I trained and managed junior personnel in installation, operation, and maintenance of digital switching equipment, wire and cable systems, and multi-channel transmission systems. I provided team assessments and training programs to junior personnel on various subjects: IT, Telecommunications systems, first aid, NBC, security, and logistics management.
