I work in several parts of Vidyard's micro-service platform, spanning multiple disciplines, scopes, and scaling requirements. Most notably, I was part of a 2-person project to introduce Oauth2 and allow Vidyard to be an identify provider to other services while allowing for simple integration with other platforms through our Oauth2 solution.I now work on the playback portion of the platform involving projects that range from encoding-centric challenges to HLS and fragmented mp4 to front-end video playback and thumbnail management at a scale of tens of thousands videos encoded per day with millions of views per day.My current project is to overhaul our thumbnail generation, storage, and delivery mechanism where I have decreased latency to thumbnail load times by an order of magnitude.

In charge of all software package selections, met with various software providers, produced project plans and implementation scenarios to help ensure a successful transition.
