Challenging companies to work smarter for a better future! Working for Symetri, I currently have the role of UK MFG Consulting Services Manager. This involves managing and aiding our consulting team tasked with providing consulting services based around Symetri and Autodesk's MFG CAD, Automation and Data Management products. With a strong focus on engineering and design processes, I aim to work with clients to effect positive change within their workflows, enhance standardisation of data within their business as well as implement cost effective design and process automation.Previously I worked within an international industrial engineering firm, where I had a dual role of senior design engineer and administration of the departmental CAD and PDM systems.I have a real enthusiasm for several main areas of my job: Engineering Design, Design Processes, Design Automation, project management and CAD/PDM/PLM administration and provide consulting services in these areas.I enjoy using my existing CAD and PDM skills as well as learning and developing new concepts and workflows, whilst also gaining exposure to a variety of engineering practices across a range of industries.
