Interim Controller at private equity owned long term home care organization. Performing full accounting activities for the organization’s holding company, including payroll, accounts payable, financial reporting, intercompany allocations and month-end close. Prepare the consolidated financial statements along with recording all EBITDA adjustments per the loan agreement with the private equity owner.

Performed Financial Analysis for the Verizon Fiber One Project in 20 markets across the country.Researched and corrected irregularities in a subsidiary production records so that the work could be billed to the customer. Assisted in the calculation of the final working capital adjustment for a $48.5 million acquisition. Assisting in the Solomon financial reporting, front-end production, inventory and ADP system implementations for a newly acquired subsidiary. Interim Controller at a $50 million subsidiary. On-boarded and trained the new permanent Controller.

Assisted in the integration of the recently purchased Sulfur business into the Oxbow Corporation's largest subsidiary Oxbow Carbon, LLC.Performed all of the purchase accounting assoicated with the transaction in compliance with FASB 141R business combinations.Performed the net working capital purchase adjustment calculation. Establishing and implementing new accounting policies and procedures. Assisting in the preparation of the opening balance sheet.Assisting in the integration of the new business into Oxbow's management reporting.

Project Manager on a Perpetual Store Inventory Implementation at a regional Pharmacy Chain. Performed a process re-engineering of the financial reporting of accounts receivable at a newly formed private equity purchased company. Reconciled inventory and developed policies and procedures to maintain that reconciliation for a Air Medical Services Company in which their maintenance parts inventory had never been reconciled. Brought current the accounts receivable reconcilation that had not been reconciled in over a year at a private school. Policies and procedures development to address deficiencies identified during process re-engineerings and operational audits. Performed a Medicare / Medicaid compliance review and an operational review of a Regional Hospital's self-insured plan. Managed several initial non-accelerated filer SOX 404 self-assessment projects. Determining the project scope, documenting, evaluating and remediating any indentified deficiencies.

Assisted in the preparation of documentation for AMI's three year financial restatement for 20 to 25 publications. Developed policies and procedures to address identified deficiencies specifically in the areas of revenue recognition, matching of revenues / expenses, accounting for marketing costs and inventory valuation. Managed AMI's initial SOX 404 compliance project. Documented and evaluated all financially significant processes.

Managed TBC / Tire Kingdom's initial SOX 404 Compliance Project. Assisted in the preparation and development of Management's assessment of internal controls over financial reporting. Managed several bank compliance reviews at Riverside National Bank.

Managed Office Depot's Initial domestic SOX 404 compliance efforts. Developed OD's SOX 404 methodology based upon the application of the initial rules. Lead a team of internal and external resources on this project. Documented, evaluated and tested the majority of financially significant processes. Worked closely with external auditors to ensure their satisfaction. As a Senior Internal Auditor prior to being promoted to this position I assisted in the development of a post implementation methodology review of Project Management Office capital expenditures. While performing operational audits identified numerous value-added recommendations including the identification of several million $ in credits owed from virtual warehouse vendors.

Managed several operational audits at GM and Delphi. Including a review of GM's powertrain division, GM's Metlife managed workers compensation insurance operations, GM's grey iron steel operations and Delphi's Packard aerospace and airline division. Managed financial statement audits of clients within various industries.

Supervisor of a staff of nine employees in a department that served as the internal control function of the accounts payable department. Responsible for accurate vendor management and conducting audit recovery programs designed to ensure the financial accountability of accounts payable. During fiscal 1998 existed and developed audit programs saved $2.6 million.

Conducted field examinations of asset based lending (ABL) clients. Conducted due diligence reviews of potential ABL clients.
