I work with professional advisors to help them communicate in a manner that is unique, but authentic, differentiating so as to challenge perceptions and change how people view accounting. Working with accountants is both interesting, and challenging. This is because in an industry where competitors offer very similar services and products, being distinct from other firms is crucial to success. The problem for professionals is that they tend to be trained in a homogenised manner, this means differentiation is not something that comes naturally. They are therefore inclined to follow, and do, the same as other accountants. I develop the brand by producing communications and working on marketing projects that are particular to select audiences. This helps advisors stand out from the crowd, by identifying and engaging with specific audiences about the issues they face, and how specialist knowledge, experience, and a relationship driven approach can be applied to help them realise their aspirations.Partners, and staff, are then better equipped to raise their profiles by developing long-term connections, and networks, in a focused and strategic manner, that helps drive growth.
