Senior Director Of Product Design, Enterprise PlatformMural Jun 2023 - Aug 2024San Francisco, California, UsOur Enterprise Platform teams were responsible for:• Front End platform (Design system and accessibility)• Enterprise Security & Compliance• Identity & Access Management (IAM)• Enterprise AdminWhile leading design in the Platform group, I directly contributed to several key initiatives related to billing models, growth initiatives, and a simplified canvas. I also partnered closely with our SVP of Design to drive and maintain our DesignOps practice. // Revenue + Experience Gap Analysis: //After introducing a new billing model, we assessed its impact and identified sales gaps. The audit aimed to pinpoint key issues and opportunities to guide R&D planning for the next six months. I conducted a thorough review of all customer touchpoints, from the sales process to product use. I gathered insights from Customer Success, Technical Solutions, Sales, and R&D teams to find patterns and opportunities.🟢 By the time I left, this audit was becoming a key tool for aligning sales and product leadership in decision-making.// Canvas Simplification: //Co-designed and delivered a simplified canvas vision to the CEO. The vision proposed a bold simplification to the product experience that would drive engagement and upgrades under the new enterprise billing model. This design vision created a structured onboarding process for new users, gradually transitioning them from casual to core to power users, while preserving the existing features that power users rely on. 🟢 The proposal secured funding for several design experiments to test and enhance the proposed vision.// Accessibility policy: //🟢 I facilitated the discovery process, conducted all synthesis, and drafted the policy statement that became Mural's new accessibility policy in 2023. -
