Attend monthly board and committee meetings, the annual general meeting, any special membership meetings, and the annual planning seminar; read and evaluate monthly financial reports and other board materials before the meeting; ensure the credit union complies with all applicable legislation; approve credit union policy, financial statements, the annual budget, and the business plan; perform an annual written appraisal of the manager based on goals established in the budget and business plan; authorize the appropriate investment of credit union funds; employ, establish compensation and duties of the manager, and terminate the manager with due cause; ensure the safe preservation of the credit union’s books and records; authorize the writing off of un-collectible loans and their removal from the books; plan and reside over all annual and special meetings.

I provided the voice talent for the HazMat training video used company-wide for Quaker Oats, the training video for A.C.T., and am most proud of the voice-over work I did for the Cedar Rapids Chamber of Commerce's "Road to Recovery" video.

With over 1400 hotels as our client base, we manage in excess of 100,000 hotel rooms, providing the guest with 24/7 technical support. WiFi connectivity is becoming almost as important as a comfortable bed and a clean room to the hotel guest. No longer are guests just checking email and surfing the web. They are streaming videos, while their kids are playing games online. The strain on the WiFi infrastructure is tremendous. My job is to consult with the hotel’s management and ownership group to come up with a solution that makes sense both financially and from a guest satisfaction standpoint.
