Hi, I'm Chrissy Chard (she/they), and I'm deeply passionate about supporting people to show up as the leaders they wish to be (whether they're leading their family, or a large corporation). In all the work I do, I am guided by self-awareness, connection, compassion, curiosity, and courage. As a coach, trainer, and consultant, I endeavor to create spaces where leaders can explore what’s working and identify areas for growth. My approach integrates the latest in leadership and nervous system science, helping leaders build a conscious and values-aligned way of leading (and parenting!) I believe in the power of vulnerability and the strength that comes from community and open conversation.I am a parent coach and educator, inspired and informed by my firsthand experience of the challenges of raising three little ones of my own, My journey of healing and transformation, supported by amazing coaches and therapists, has inspired me to help others navigate the complexities of parenting with compassion and self-trust. Currently, I direct the Advanced Leadership Training Program with the Regional Institute for Health and Environmental Leadership (RIHEL), where I develop and facilitate year-long leadership trainings for public health and environmental health leaders across the Rocky Mountain Region.I hold a Ph.D. in Human Bioenergetics from Colorado State University and have a diverse professional background in teaching, coaching, research and leadership training. I'm also the co-founder of Smart Fit Girls, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the well-being of adolescent girls through physical activity, self-esteem, and body image education. My research and public health practice focus on dismantling systemic inequities and centering youth voices as experts in their own lives.Outside of work, I find joy in spending quality time with my children, lifting weights, cold plunging, and connecting with my supportive network of friends and family. I am committed to showing up as the fullest version of myself for myself and my family and helping other leaders and parents do the same."Thank you so much for everything. It was an extremely rewarding and beneficial experience. I can already see our life getting easier and enjoying the kids even more. Also appreciate some of the observations about me personally allowing for more self-forgiveness and patience. As I shared with you, I deal with a lot of self-guilt from years past thus it carries over into other areas. I’ve already seen more self-patience." - J.C., Denver, CO
