Enhance guest experiences by creating a safe, efficient, and friendly environment where I suggest, pour, and serve a variety of alcohol. Calculate bar tabs and collect and process payments. Continuously organize bar area to create an attractive, clean space. Validate customer identification to follow the bar, state, and federal laws. Perform closing duties including sweeping and mopping of the floors, emptying the cash tip box, wiping down all tables, bars, and seating, cleaning out tap handles and areas behind the bar and creating an overall clean atmosphere.

This was a summer job in which I worked as a lifeguard and activity coordinator a waterfront setting. Part of my duties extended past typical lifeguard responsibilities and included teaching kids ages 5-17 how to canoe and kayak properly and supervising lakefront activities such as fishing, using the diving boards, and creating games that will enhance the kids' experience while at camp.
