In a one-year grant position, I dedicated my efforts to enhancing fluency and comprehension skills among 2nd-grade students, preparing them for a successful transition to 3rd grade. Focused on creating a supportive learning environment, I implemented strategies to boost both reading fluency and comprehension, ensuring students were well-prepared for the challenges of the next academic level.

In a year-long substitute position for 5th-grade reading, I took on comprehensive responsibilities, including curriculum planning, conducting conferences, grading, and attending all meetings. After student teaching in LA and Social Studies in the fall, I seamlessly transitioned into a long-term substitute role for my supervising English teacher in the spring.
