Chrissy Mayhew is co-owner of Preferred Construction with her husband, Mike Mayhew. We each have over 35 years of experience in the construction industry. Our Motto is "One company from Conception to Completion". When a client hires us for their new construction project or renovation project, we can handle everything from helping them determine a location, design the space, permitting and building out the space. We have expert, skilled teams that we work with from Millwork/Casement, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, Security, Life Safey, Flooring, furniture and many more.Our company has worked in many types of Tennant fit out spaces for doctor's offices, surgical centers, medical laboratories, professional office buildings, retail stores, investment properties and veterinary clinics. Often, work has to be completed after hours or on weekends. Many things are considered when putting together the design and implementation of the phases for all projects. Meeting with the staff is critical when designing their particular space. Their input is incredibly valuable in making sure we capture all the needs, function and flow of that department. Communication is the key with our customers. We keep them updated on the status of the project with emails and pictures as the owners/management company are not always in Maryland.
