Working on data analytics within the local payments acquiring domain of Adyen. Facilitating the creation of a platform built to simplify and accelerate global payments.I help create a data infrastructure to facilitate the data driven abilities to gain insights in performance and identify growth opportunities of local payment methods throughout our merchant base. Leading the Reporting & Data Science team of 3 people, that manages the existing BI platform and continuously develop data science projects. Several predictive and machine learning (distributed) frameworks were applied in open source tools - examples include KPI forecasting models for different business departments, and a product cross selling/recommendation engine. In addition, collaborating with the Business Technology team to set up data pipelines in a cloud environment, and build a data warehouse using the Hadoop ecosystem and SAP BI suite.
