I am currently a senior at Sonoma State and majoring in Communications. I hope to enter into the journalism field, either broadcast or print. My work experience consists of In-N-Out Burger, which has greatly improved my customer service skills. At this time I have left In-N-Out and been working for CalSERVES, which is a branch of Americorps, the domestic Peacecorps. I am currently the mentor for a fifth grade class at Meadow View Elementary in Santa Rosa, CA. In addition to being a mentor, I am also a one-on-one literacy tutor for two students. When working with children I learn something new everyday. It continues to be a rewarding endeavor. My experience with In-N-Out and CalSERVES has left me with a number of leadership skills that I would love to apply to any field of communications.Specialties: Writing and computer skills, personable, customer service and leadership skills
