Research and write content for website and packaging of Private Brand product lines – office supplies & equipment, furniture, and technology products. Ensure that product claims and features are accurate and competitive through an internal and external review process involving the marketplace (web, catalogs & retail) and collaboration with Program Management, Merchant, Vendor, Legal, and Quality Assurance teams. Work closely with design managers/graphic artists to prepare Copy Documents that emulate and align to layout designs for simplified content insertion and follow-up proofreading.Write clear, accurate and compelling copy for collateral materials used for in-store visual merchandising and sell sheets. Acquire translations for products also sold in Canada, and maintain their database. Research and create product naming options, undertake preliminary USPTO & market research, and submit & coordinate trademark clearance requests to Legal team.
