Out of high school, I had the opportunity to work as a Senate Page in the Alaska State Legislature. This role gave me a front row seat to the legislative process and I quickly developed a deep appreciation for public policy. Following that, I became a legislative aide, where I analyzed legislation, managed constituent relations, gave presentations on bills, and served as staff to the Alaska Senate Education Committee. Currently, I work part time as a project coordinator for the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development, conducting research projects and organizing events.
