As a student of liberal arts at DeSales University and Southern New Hampshire University, I am focused and enthusiastic to be graduating in November 2021 with a Masters in forensic psychology. The academic curriculum throughout my undergrad and post grad has taught me critical thinking, how to work with a team, research, writing across various genres and formats, advanced Microsoft office and public speaking skills. I have conducted research on the effects of cognition in relation to sleep deprivation and also the effect on memory when singing in different tones and pitches. I have researched the differences and similarities between the justice systems in England and the United States and also the differences and similarities in the adult justice system and the juvenile justice system. I have considerable experience in coaching and peer mentorship on and off the field. I was a senior mentor in an organization, Gateway to Success, we were expected to help the incoming freshman with their transition from high school to college, academically, socially, and mentally. I have also served as a lacrosse coach with a local middle school and was expected to come prepared with trainings and coaching plans daily, while also balancing my academic and social life outside of practice. Since then, I have been offered a job as the Head Lacrosse Coach at Nazareth Academy High School and I hope to develop these skills more and to continue to mentor people on and off the field. I consider myself as a creative and hardworking young professional focused on growing in the fields of psychology and criminal justice.
