Recently retired, and loving it!Creative and naturally curious. I learn by taking on new challenges.I care about community, and support mine a variety of ways. Currently by mentoring, supporting 3 boards, chairing a committee, and volunteering in my creative community. One of my favourite past experiences was volunteering with the Y’s Host Program, and being matched with people new to Canada.I’m playing with woodworking, have started to learn more about hot-glass techniques, and hope to return to working with clay. Even though I’m only doing this for fun, I’d love to find a “business” name for my endeavours. Shoot me a line if you have an idea!I love slow travel, and along with my husband took a mid-career break to travel for a year. It was magical.Countries I’ve visited:Australia, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Monaco, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Palestine, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, Syria, Turkey, United States, The Vatican, and former Yugoslavia.
