As the main point of contact for all labels, I regularly provide guidance about government directives, copyright and legal issues, plus give strategic marketing advice.Write strategic marketing communications plans to grow membership. Achieved growth targets of 70% through an omni-channel approach and increased visibility about the BPI at third party events and conferences. Created the Music Export Growth Scheme from end-to-end, including the process and methodology for selection by the board to reporting. Market the scheme to the industry through electronic direct mail campaigns, social media and public speaking at key events. To date, the scheme has provided £4.2M government funding to 270 artists, supporting overseas marketing and touring activities. This has generated over £12 for every £1 invested in the scheme giving over £51M worth of income back into the UK so far.Secured BPI as a Trade Challenge Partner with the Department for International Trade to jointly host overseas trade missions to support British labels with export. Successful trade missions in Los Angeles sync mission, India, China, South Korea, Poland, Japan and Australia resulted in members winning business contracts previously not available to them. Launched training initiative, establishing a full programme of educational courses, from digital marketing, YouTube channel management to understanding distribution complexities. In 2013, arranged and managed 9 events, increasing this to 35 in 2018 with 50+ planned for 2021. All events have full participation and are free of charge to membership. These training events led to BPI being awarded the CIC Skills award for training in 2018.I also run the BRITs Apprentice Scheme which to date has helped 30+ young adults with Apprenticeships in the Music Industry.
