👋 Hi! I'm Christa, and I have been growing businesses for the past 15 years. Over ten years were spent with other organizations, supporting growth and success in the Human Resources (HR) function. Most recently, I've launched and scaled my own home services business. While I have the formal education and certification, I've learned more about people and processes through trial and error in the trenches. What I've learned to be true about most small business owners: ✓ They start a 'business' for freedom, but end up creating a 'job' for themselves- working more and making less over the long run than if they had stayed with their employer. 😓✓ They don't go into business excited about hiring, team building, management, training and employee relations. 🥴✓ They often lack these people skills, keeping them stuck in the daily grind and stifling growth. 📈Owning and operating a business is freaking hard, but I have a leg up on my competition and others because of my background in HR.
