Manage and grow existing business while expanding to new accounts in a multi-state territory and multi-million dollar quota assignment representing 44 accounts, including 4 multi-door accounts. Increased sales by 160%, opened 30 new accounts, and expanded territory into Canada. Train and educate retail accounts in seasonal selling strategies and effective inventory management, product selection and features, and how to optimize visual merchandising for a rich customer engagement. Work with retailers to forecast sales and develop business plans based on trends, margins, and inventory turns. Maintain relationships with retail accounts by meeting 4-12 times annually to present new product lines, review sales data, merchandise, and place orders. Facilitate training sessions on product knowledge, selling strategies, and merchandising standards to sales teams. Research marketplace to understand the needs of each retail account. Create customized advertising programs. Educate retail accounts on all other distribution channels to create a focused customer strategy. Identify potential accounts through targeted prospecting. Approach business owners/buyers to become retailers.

Manage merchandising operations for two regions comprised of 26 retail locations in Washington and Alaska. Develop floor plans and create visual presentations for stores with annual sales of $50M. Manage new store openings and seasonal transitions - opened 5 new stores in an average of 18 days per project. Train managers on Pier 1 merchandising standards and fixture utilization to achieve brand consistency and increase sales, conversion, and average items per transaction.

Select product according to open-to-buy and merchandising plan at the national furniture and accessory markets. Negotiate best prices and terms. Merchandise and design visual displays in 5 stores of 135,000 sq. ft. and annual sales of $35M. Manage allocation and distribution of inventory to retail locations. Set-up showroom for wholesale parent company (A-America) at San Francisco and Highpoint furniture markets. Supervise store-transfer team of 3 staff.
