Oversee the strategic planning and daily operations of the Office of Field Placement and Professional Experiences in service of high quality field-based learning and career preparation of students in undergraduate and graduate programs in the College of Education and Human Development. Created new systems, procedures, and policies for placing students at sites including orientation events, resources for student success in the field, supervision guidelines, and individual student meetings. Served as Ombudsperson for the College of Education and Human Development by mediating the academic appeal process. Served as a resource for students and faculty during times of academic and professional misconduct disputes by utilizing a philosophy of educating, protecting, and supporting the parties and all members of the college community while providing clear consequences for inappropriate behavior that violates both the College of Education’s Code of Professional Conduct and University Code of Conduct.
