Hi there!My name is Christa Schapley and I'm currently a Marketing student at FAU. I plan to graduate in December of this year with a bachelor's degree in general marketing. I am currently looking for a job that will help me gain experience in the marketing field and prepare me for my career after graduation.I have been working as a server at Acts Retirement for about three years while attending FAU. I also had a seasonal position at Macy's near the end of Covid when businesses started opening up again. At Macy's, I gained my first exposure to customer service and learned how to handle various situations. During my time at Acts Retirement, I have learned how to manage my time effectively, work as part of a team, and handle any challenges that arise. Due to my hard work, I was recognized as server of the month for providing exceptional service. Through these experiences, I have developed skills in effective communication, sales techniques, and hospitality.In terms of sales and marketing experience, I have completed several certifications demonstrating my proficiency in programs such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics during my Digital Marketing class this summer. Also, this summer, I have gained a broader understanding of various Digital Marketing techniques, such as email marketing, social media marketing, and the significance of different keywords in SEO. I have also taken prior classes that provided me with a comprehensive understanding of other programs under Google Office's umbrella.
