As part of the Clinical Transparency Project Team, Chris delivered the design for a set of data services to participate in reporting clinical trial information for regulatory reporting.The solution design used UML Modeling, Data Services best practices and leveraged industry standards (specifically CDISC's BRIDG Domain Model) for an initial set of data services. Several components to handle a file based physical data source and managing a vendor interface were created.The logical model and design is extensible to support future uses in making clinical trial data more available within the enterprise and consists of a conceptual model, logical entity models, interface specifications, service specifications, XML schemas to support the services, and a security design.

Established a modeling landscape that is commonly used in the IT Industry to support a more disciplined IT approach to delivering solutions in a more consistent fashion.Installed, configured and prototyped the use of Business Process modeling using Oracle's BPA (IDS Scheer's ARIS) highlighting the role Business Process modeling plays in an overall IT approach.

At the request of the Chief Data Architect, reviewed a proposed information model for the support of IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) as an extension to the current information models. Identified areas within the current enterprise model that might be affected by the introduction of IMS Solutions into the operating environment. Provided instight to the IMS team on the current information models, particular attention was paid to the Product and Customer models within the Enterprise Data Model and the related concepts within the IMS Home Subscriber Service (HSS), identities and service profiles.

Enterprise Architect helping to establish the service Model for a Service Oriented Architecture to support the BSS and OSS for Comcast. Work included creating an initial set of Service Domains, input to an iterative design and development methodology to include a more model driven approach, functional design of several initial services and key concepts including a complete view of "Customer."

Work with project managers to maintain project schedule; provide system architecture vision and direction; provide software architecture, design and development support to projects; Established an IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem)/SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) Lab; Developed prototype SIP compliant Registration Server and Proxy Server

Primary responsibility for assessing the current architecture and IT systems for diversified businesses at Capital One and establishing a Target Architecture for those businesses and creating a roadmap to attain the target. Subject Matter Expert work who also works with the Enterprise Architecture (Conceptual Models, Reference Architectures and Enterprise Standards) teams.
