Social worker duties: Home visits, working with the school system, supervising visits with birth families, occasionally attending court on behalf of the minor, writing conscise case notes, case plans, and quarterly reports regarding how the client (child) is doing and if he/she is meeting set goals. Coordinate with a numerous amount of people to make these children's lives more functional, and ensure they are provided all proper services. I am also being invited to participate in fundraising, and training which is exciting!

Work in any needed area on various days. Coordinating with Special Events planning and implementation and fundraising. This is an organization that is widely supported through the great efforts of the amazing staff and organization of volunteers in junction with established businesses, politicians, and generous humanitarians.

Private Foster Family Agency. I supervised 4-9 social workers making sure that they were following legalities required. Supervised families, did final home inspections, conducted inservices, ongoing training and "crisis intervention" for social workers and foster families/children. Wrote reports used for court plans and placement decisions for foster children. Went to court and interfaced with foster children's attourney's when appropriate. Was involved in the hiring process and dismissal or "warning" issues.

As Instructor of Early Child Education I instructed "live",made literature selections, developed testing strategies, taught and measured students knowledge of assigned materials, created learning environment for all ages and learning styles. Utilized my own interpersonal skills to enable a fun educational environment.As College Guidance Counselor, I was responsible for the matriculation of the students who sought my assistance, recruited new students through presentations at high schools, devpeloped press releases for local radio and newspaper to promote upcoming college programs and/or incentives, created plans for students to reach academic goals with in the Jr College level or to transfer. Personal issues were worked on as they inevitably came up from time to time with students.
