This position involves creating and maintaining various functions on the Evolve system on Roundtable via DWP framework and on the V3X system on Roundtable with Character and GUI (Progress 4GL/ABL). Includes OOD principles.The following responsibilities are included:-Second in charge for the Development team-Assisting team in technical challenges and other issues-Maintaining the environment and resolving environment issues (Roundtable and DWP)-Release to QA-Train the juniors/interns-Resolve queries from offshore team - emails & skype calls-Resolve queries/issues from QA, BA and Support-Estimate on work to be completed by development (tickets and projects)-Plan for releases-Delegate work for the releases to the individual team members-Prepare reports on the progress of the team on the releases-Maintain, develop and document programs and applications within quality and time expectations-Review and analyse Functional Specifications-Create Technical Specifications with designs and process models based on functional requirements-Perform unit and process testing-Provide regular feedback on work done to management-Present and attend internal JAD sessions and meetings-Maintain knowledge base and manage knowledge transfer sessions-Create and update user manuals and release notifications for QA-Investigate and analyse complex technical and system problems
