Busy. I’ve always been busy. I am happiest when there is plenty to do. I love the adrenaline rush associated with fast paced work. I have often been asked “why” and have almost always responded that if it wasn’t ‘this’, it would be ‘that’. I like to be busy. I’ve packed a lot into the last 15 years. In 2002, I started along a career path with Drury Hotels that quickly moved me from the front line to an AGM then to the Training Department. An eventual relocation resulted in an opportunity to assist as a recruiter with Drury Hotels, working from home as an independent contractor. I committed myself to learning the responsibilities associated with recruitment, sourcing, interviewing, and staffing. While working at Drury Hotels, I also picked up a fun hobby with DockDogs. The hobby quickly turned into a part time job that then turned into a full time opportunity where I helped to grow the Affiliate Programs of DockDogs Clubs, DockDogs Facilities, and the DockDogs Magazine. I started volunteering in 2003 and completed my full time contract in 2011 – it was a lovely eight years of service to a very fun and fast growing organization!I started my own company in 2008 and still assist small business owners in various areas of business organization, including marketing, social media, recruiting, and website development. I have been an apprentice to my father full time in the art of gun dog training. The methods involve daily activity with every dog. I have happily graduated over 100 total working gun dogs and basic obedience dogs. The most popular dog training services now include our 3 week Board & Train program and DIY Gun Dog Training Classes. Although I continue to operate Butler Consulting and train dogs at Stillwater Kennel, I spend the majority of my time recruiting the best-of-the-best talent for Wiese USA - a phenomenal family owned and faith based company with exceptional principles and values, led by people who are second to none!
