- Led the development of a national strategic plan for branding College of the Environment (UWEnvironment) undergraduate programs and the UWEnvironment undergraduate experience, dovetailing with the Husky Experience- Recruited new students to the College of the Environment and increased total number of students enrolled in our majors- Advised, mentored, and supported prospective College of the Environment students and families- Launched the UWEnvironment Undergraduate Student Ambassador Program focused on new student recruitment- Founded & coordinated the Youth Environmental Education Network - a team of high school environmental education leaders across more than 30 organizations in the Central Puget Sound region who work together to deepen the collective impact of their programs through co-sponsored events, coordinated professional development, cross-organization recruitment and marketing, and quarterly collaboration meetings- Collaborated with partner organizations, schools, community colleges, and individuals to raise awareness about our programs and supported prospective students throughout the college application and major decision process - Developed & implemented a quantitative plan for assessing UWEnvironment Student Recruitment & Retention Efforts - Managed UWEnvironment Student Scholarship & Funding Committee - Represented the College of the Environment at regional and national events and conferences- Served as the UWEnvironment liaison to UW Admissions & First Year Programs -Served as the UWEnvironment lead for the UW Food Exploration Living Learning Community

- Provided academic and career advising for undergraduate marine biology students- Worked in collaboration with faculty to conduct market research, develop curriculum, write a proposal, and garner support for a new major in Marine Biology (launched Autumn 2018) - Developed and revised curriculum and course offerings for the marine biology minor and future major- Recruited students to the College of the Environment, the marine biology minor, and related majors- Supported high school and potential transfer students in planning for a degree/career in the marine sciences- Developed and maintained partnerships with local and national marine biology organizations- Served as the on-campus liaison for Friday Harbor Laboratories including recruitment, student advising, and partnership development - Maintained UW Marine Biology's social media presence

I co-founded GFVitamins, a subsidiary of GC Tomorrow LLC in 2011 to make high-quality products more accessible to children and adults requiring a gluten-free diet. GFVitamins offers gluten-free health and personal care products as well as a variety of items that promote sustainable, healthy lifestyles. We incorporate sustainable business practices into our work and offer product lines that place an emphasis on supporting the environment and communities in need.

While my primary role at IslandWood is coordinating our exciting nature-focused summer camp programs and family weekends, I also work on a number of other projects including managing our school field trip day programs, mentoring EEC graduate students, and supervising education college interns.
