Built + managed high priority relationships with Silicon Valley's most influential early-stage investors, accelerators, and entrepreneurs. Also led strategic BD and strategy for api partnerships on the Stripe Atlas product.

Co-Founding Partner & Head of Marketing @500 Startups (500.co), an accelerator and seed stage VC. Within 18 months, 500 Startups became one of the most well-known and sought after investors in the world. Investments include 33 unicorns (>$1 Billion valuation): Canva, Twilio, Grab, Credit Karma, Talkdesk, Intercom, Udemy, and GitLab, among others.

reWired was a Silicon Valley-based marketing firm founded on the principle that smarter, more creative, and hyper-dynamic approaches are needed today to attract audiences, retain attention, and instigate meaningful B2B & B2C connections. Clients included Digg, VentureBeat, Open Mobile Media, Nokia, Dave McClure (500 Hats), theMIX agency, Live Gamer, and LeadsCon (Jay Weintraub).Though reWired was successful and growing, I pressed the "pause" button to join Dave McClure & co-found 500 Startups.

Dealmaker Media is a Silicon Valley tech network dedicated to providing early-stage entrepreneurs, investors, and tech executives with access to industry connections, education, & resources. As a Director, I co-led content curation & sponsorship. This was, by far, the most pivotal role in my career because it enabled me to gain an 'insider's view' of the tech sector & develop a massive network of influencers - i.e. today's leading entrepreneurs, investors, corporate strategics, and press.> I co-led content curation, working alongside top entrepreneurs & investors to build agendas that addressed current opportunities and challenges for building technology companies. In this regard, I led our conference product line which included a monthly roundtable series (50 attendees), 3 "Under the Radar" conferences (350-400 attendees), and 1-2 additional tech conferences per year.> I led the product development, marketing, & on-site production for the conferences. > I closed over $100,000 in new sponsorship accounts via a new program I created & managed.I left Dealmaker Media briefly in 2007 and returned shortly thereafter when I was recruited back with a promotion. In 2009, I left to start my own company, reWired.

Houlihan Lokey is a leading mid-market investment bank headquartered in Los Angeles with offices across the U.S., Asia, and Europe. As an Associate in the Events & Speakers Bureau division, I researched, pitched, & closed conference and industry association speaking opportunities for our Managing & Senior Directors. I also was involved in the planning and execution of our Annual Officer's Retreat.I left Houlihan Lokey in 2005 to move to San Francisco & pursue a career in tech.

I volunteered as an ESL teacher in Bulgaria, and taught English to elementary level students in a former coal mining town called Pernik, about 30 kilometers from the capital city of Sofia.

Littler Mendelson is the nation's largest employment and labor law firm. I was hired during college as an intern in the Client Relations department, and was involved with creating & implementing marketing campaigns & programs for the firm and senior attorneys. This included organizing breakfast roundtable events, attending client pitches, creating and maintaining print collateral, producing large-scale conferences, and working alongside the firm's Managing & Senior Partners to attract new clients & retain top accounts.I left Littler in 2003 to join the United States Peace Corps as a Volunteer in Bulgaria.
