Ever since I was a little kid, software development has been my passion. I still remember sitting at the family computer watching videos of people modding games, and wondering "how did they do that?" That question is what started it all. From then on my curiosity was insatiable. I began by learning java to create my own mods. As I grew up I took proper high school courses in computer science, learning python, and creating my own basic games. Instead of just asking "how did they do that?", I now asked, "how can I do this?" Those courses only grew my passion further, confirming my path towards a degree in Computer Science. Here, my eyes were opened to the intricacies of programming. Learning Object-Oriented Principles, Modern Agile development, RESTful routing, and SCRUM methodologies, I gained a structure to follow, made cleaner programs, and learned to work with a development team.Then Covid happened and everything slowed down, but my passion wasn't extinguished in the slightest. Instead, it pushed me to transition from my college degree and pursue a software development BootCamp. There I learned web development, and my curiosity exploded once more. From learning React to learning Ruby on Rails to using Material UI as a front-end styling library, or even React-Router for client-side routing, so many new things were opened up to me. My passion exploded once again and I created project after project, incorporating and polishing everything I learned and developing another driving force. Not only did I have a passion and an insatiable curiosity for software development, but a newly found desire for building problem-solving products. So, now, in industry, these driving forces still live inside me. I'm now passionate about developing products that solve problems and make users' everyday lives easier. And I'm more curious than ever. There is so much more out there to learn, so many new things to create, so many more problems to solve, or a more efficient way to do something.
