Implementation of People-centered Operational Excellence with Human & Organization Performance (HOP) principles and processes.

David promotes human and organizational performance through this organization as it serves others in the co-creation of Relational Leadership and Coordination, Lessons Learned Initiatives, practical implementation of High Reliability Organizing processes, and Action Learning Research.These processes impact organizations with intentional implementation of organizational learning skills. Activation of the New View on Human Performance, Safety, High Reliability & Resilience, Crisis Management, Critical Thinking, and Inspiring Relational Leadership through Humble & Appreciative Inquiry, Emotional & Social Intelligence.Trust, relationships, safety, quality, productivity, etc. are all positively impacted by implementation of the O4R approach to organizational learning and continuous improvement.

I led a small group of professionals over more than a decade in the large effort to provide a resource center to the interagency U.S. wildland firefighting community. We were actively involved in building a healthy safety culture that continues to be centered on organizational learning and high reliability organizing.

After presenting in Stavanger on the topic of "Managing Large and Enduring Crisis Events" to the multiple safety-critical, high-risk industries with global responsibilities in 2012, I was invited to return to observe and learn about emergency response training in Bergen, especially for offshore oil platform managers. It's always nice to be invited, but especially to be invited back!

I have recently completed a MSc in Human Factors & Systems Safety under Prof. Sidney Dekker and Prof. James Nyce through Lund University, Sweden. My research thesis is titled, "Increasing Resilience Through Conditions That Enable Informal Learning For Incident Commanders."
