I am game for any challenge you can throw at me, and I wholeheartedly believe there is always a way towards a solution. Instead of saying "no, this is simply not possible", I'd rather ask "what will it take to solve this? Can we find a solution looking at it from another angle?". Throughout my career I have held most types of art production roles, and I have had the priviledge of art directing numerous games over the years. Though I very much enjoy working hands-on and contributing with assets, concepts, animations and scripts, one of the most enjoyable facets of art direction is building strong, dedicated art teams that help each other grow, help and support one another and overcome difficulties together. I believe art teams function best when individuals have the neccessary trust and breathing room to do their thing whilst still making sure everyone pulls in the same direction and follows the overarching vision. After all, every person on the team, across any department, wants to achieve the same thing - a stellar game production one can be proud of and which truly resonates with the audience, so fostering a positive and focused team culture is key to everyone's shared success.
