As a Freelance Bookkeeper, I provide bookkeeping and accounting service support for small business and non-profit clients. I am recognized for providing a meticulous, personable approach to bookkeeping that exceeds client expectations. Most of my work focuses on organizing all accounts, transitioning paper-based to software-based using QuickBooks, reconciling accounts, facilitating day-to-day office operations, and performing ad hoc jobs. With a desire to hone my craft, I recently, I earned Certificates in Accounting I and II from Oakton Community College. A committed volunteer who heads multiple projects with differing priorities, I proactively approach complex issues to craft and deliver financial, organizational, and strategy solutions. One of my proudest achievements was as director of a community-wide parent-run production that has been around for 41-years. Due to the pandemic, it was unclear how the show would go on. I led the transition from a live show into two smaller video productions with two large-scale showings to safely accommodate participants and audiences during the pandemic. Participants and attendees remarked at how seamless the event ran, especially in the creativity, effort, organization, and determination to provide some bright spots in an otherwise dark time. In previous productions, I performed, directed various numbers, directed the entire show of 100+ performers, and produced a show.I am also proud of serving as PTA President, PTA Treasurer, and in a myriad of ways while my children were at McKenzie Elementary School. I streamlined all processes and procedures to leave everything better than when I began. While at St. Francis Xavier Church and School, I ran a 1000-attendee block party and a rummage sale that attracted 5000 visitors. Each event raised funds that far surpassed the previous year. Earlier in my career, I served as a Real Estate Appraiser. I was recognized as the go-to in my ten-person office to address all work-related issues during my tenure. As a result, I proudly surged my salary by 750% by improving upon each process systematically.When I am not volunteering or working, I enjoy playing tennis, traveling, playing board games, and reading.
