Leading the Women's Business Enterprise Division at 84 Lumber, I have over 31 years of experience in the building materials and construction industry, where I leverage my skills in new business development, team building, and successful business ownership. I am passionate about supporting the development of a diverse business community with our customers by promoting the recognition and utilization of women-owned businesses by corporations, government agencies, and other organizations. I provide comprehensive certification and training services that enable our associates to compete effectively in the marketplace and to access more opportunities for growth and collaboration. I also lead the 84 Lumber Company WBE Ambassador program, which builds relationships, supports small businesses, and encourages growth among our associates and contractors.In addition to my role at 84 Lumber, I am also an award-winning leader and advocate for women in the construction industry. I have been recognized as a Woman of Influence, a GWBC WBE Advocate of the Year, and a 2022 WBE Leadership. I am the Co-Founder and Co-Host of Women Talk Construction, a podcast that amplifies and celebrates women's non-traditional career journeys in the construction industry. Through our episodes, we share stories, feel heard, and inspire others. I am also the Founder of Women Confidence Builders, a vibrant non-profit organization that hosts events to educate, mentor, disciple, and empower individuals to reach new heights. Through our dynamic gatherings, we weave a tapestry of knowledge, mentorship, and empowerment, creating a safe haven where dreams flourish and boundaries shatter.
