Four states have combined resources to build the first combined unemployment computerized system. I am currently the Appeals lead for Colorado and am also assisting with change management and communication plan.

I work for the unemployment office at the State. When decisions are made to either award or disqualify someone from unemployment, they can appeal those decisions. I work in Appeals and process the paperwork and set up files. I also answer calls regarding questions or issues with appeals. In addition, I made decisions on whether or not a late appeal can be accepted.
