Ik ben een fysicus die precies en doelgericht werkt met een breed interessegebied. Ook heb ik ervaring met wiskunde, scheikunde, simulaties en programmeren. Ik heb gewerkt aan (electron-)optica, additive manufacturing en medische imaging technologie. Ik ben binnen Philips begonnen met het maken van strooistralenroosters voor CT scanners door wolfraampoeder in een gecompliceerde 3D vorm te laser sinteren. Dit is ondertussen een 10+ miljoen euro business. Ik werk graag samen met collega's en toeleveranciers. Ook het contact met eindklanten vind ik erg leuk om te doen en ik denk graag met hen mee voor de beste oplossing voor hun vraag.

PhD position (OIO) at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in the polymer chemistry department on the topic of phase behavior of polydisperse copolymers. I conducted Monte Carlo simulations and calculations on polydisperse mixtures of copolymers to see which microstructure would be thermodynamically favourable under certain conditions, most importantly temperature. To do these computationally expensive calulations, I set up a computer infrastructure using Linux machines at the faculty.
