I brought 20 years of experience as a visual designer, writer and branding expert to my role as co-founder and chief creative officer at MamaLingua Inc., where I headed up visual product design, branding, and content and campaign development across our app, website and marketing. I directed brand messaging and copy development throughout our fundraising initiatives, including pitch decks, press releases, promotional videos and crowdfunding.• • •MamaLingua Go! is a cross-platform subscription library of expertly curated content for bilingual learning for kids 8 and under. Families will have unlimited access to high quality e-books and activities that promote bilingual learning for young kids. Our content, created both in-house and sourced from around the world, is aligned with classroom curriculum and learning objectives to provide a cohesive virtual learning experience from the classroom to home.

As co-founder of MamaLingua LLC, I headed up creative design, product development and copywriting for our website, blog, store and app.In the fall of 2015, we released the MamaLingua English-Spanish app (I designed the app, and it's my voice you'll hear on the English side), followed by the launch of our blog and store in January 2016.The app is a curated list of relevant words and phrases used during daily routines and activities with children, like bathing, eating, changing and playing. It provides parents with a starting point to lay the foundation for learning a second language alongside their kids. The app includes text, an easy-to-read phonetic system, audio that helps with listening and pronunciation, and the ability to search across both the Spanish and English database. The favorites feature helps users curate and practice the words and phrases they’re learning or reference most frequently.

As a contributing writer to the Andrew Harper Traveler magazine, I wrote feature articles and advertorials on worldwide travel, from the world's best spas to wilderness adventures and everything in between. Founded in 1979, Andrew Harper is one of the most respected bespoke travel companies in the industry. It offers subscribers unbiased reviews, travel assistance, luxury tours and valuable travel privileges.

As a senior designer and copywriter at TWG, I designed, produced, wrote and copy edited print and online marketing collateral for higher education clients. Our work included viewbooks and brochures, direct mail, landing pages, websites, email campaigns, native and social media advertising, and broadcast advertising, as well as comprehensive brand development. As a client-facing position, I also conducted discovery interviews, concept pitches and creative presentations.

As a contributing writer and voice talent to the award-winning Centro Y Sur digital magazine, I conducted and edited interviews with fascinating characters with a tie to Latin America. Profiles included wingsuit BASE jumper Jeb Corliss, Costa Rican architect Gloriana Mejia, mezcal producer Stephen Myers, Brazilian polo player Paula Chermon, tango dancer Jesica Gustavo Hornos and extreme adventurer Ed Stafford.
