Received a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Appalachian State University. I interned with Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte in the Refugee Resettlement Office as a Case Aid. Task included managing resettlement cases for refugees and parolees, curating a 90-day plan of action to reestablish full client independence, and aid in the Asylee application process with local Pro-bono Lawyers. Prior to Catholic Charities, I held another internship with the Immigrant Justice Coalition of Boone serving as their Scholarship Fundraising Lead allocating funds to finance higher educational opportunities for Latine students, organizing agency events to maximize attendance and profitability and assigning tasks to subcommittee members to optimize agency fundraising efforts. Currently working full-time as an Immigration Coordinator for Signature Consultants, I handle the legal writing regarding the consultants and clients offer letters, employee verifications, vendor letters, and TN letters. Also working part-time, I serve as the Grants Coordinator for the Immigrant Justice Coalition of Boone working to research available grants within our criteria, apply, and budget funds for the organization accordingly.
