In this role I created pedagogical content (composed musical examples, wrote explanatory lessons, created question set) for Duolingo-like music theory app for kids. In addition, I worked with Docker containers and CI/CD pipelines to test and deploy updates to the content generation system.During this internship I:· Developed proficiency in a compiled markdown language for musical notation (GNU Lilypond).· Gained understanding of Git and GitHub, specifically with managing multiple pull requests and merge conflicts.· Managed databases and gained familiarity with Docker containers.· Created Bash scripts to automate content generation and deployment.· Worked with Python and HuggingFace to create datasets and train a natural language processing model (Google T5) to generate pedagogical text.

In this role I learned practically every position available in both the customer service roles and the kitchen. In addition, I:· Gained teamworking skills in communicating and coordinating with team members from diverse backgrounds. · Exemplified hospitality and customer service skills.· Displayed leadership ability and scored perfectly on employee evaluations.
