I had the privilege of leading the narrative development for the independent video game, ‘You Left Us’. My role encompassed:• Writing the complete story and scripting all the character dialogue and voice lines.• Focusing on providing a cohesive and engaging player experience. • Contributed to the game’s immersive environment through strategic level design, specifically through environmental storytelling that enriched the narrative depth.• Additionally, I lent my voice to one of the characters, adding a personal touch to the game’s diverse cast.The project culminated in a significant achievement as ‘You Left Us’ was entered into the 14th Pirate Software Game Jam. Our innovative approach and dedication were recognised when we secured first place out of over 1,400 entries.
