Hello, My name is Christian Apps and I am from Vail, Colorado. After attaining my Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and public health and a minor in Photography from the University of Colorado - Boulder, I decided to return to my local community of Vail to work in healthcare. I aspire to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, so over the last few years, I have been focused on absorbing as much information as I can regarding physical therapy and health and wellness. During this time, I have worked for Vail Integrative Medical Group, where I learned the effectiveness of integration and collaboration of multiple healthcare practices such as PT, Chiropractic, nursing, chronic pain medicine, and massage therapy. I then moved on to Howard Head Sports Medicine, where I could work beside some of the country's best sports and orthopedic specialists. This enabled me to learn a multitude of skills and practices, such as interpersonal skills, medical practices, and a ton of compassion and presence in the workplace. While working, I was fortunate to be able to coach my high school nordic program, coming on my 3rd season, and during this time, I have collaboratively built a program that has created a strong team, boasting the 2022 Colorado Women State Ski Champions and Runner-up for the Men's Team in 2022 and 2021. This joy of coaching motivated me to obtain the CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. It has been an extremely formative few years for me, and I am excited to continue to learn and grow through my future endeavors!
