I work as a project manager and engineering consultant and I'm interested in working with people and communities to find solutions to our energy, resource recovery and environmental challenges. I'm particularly interested in "new energy" projects such as clean energy systems for remote communities, distributed generation, microgrids and energy storage. I'm also working on projects in the wastewater and solid waste management spheres, including material recovery and diversion, landfill leachate treatment and landfill gas management. Although I'm a mechanical engineer by training, one the interesting parts about consulting is the opportunity to work on a wide range of new and interesting projects. Over the past eight years, my engineering and project management experience includes work in industrial wastewater, coal tar remediation, and emergency response for environmental spills, and civil construction.
