Born to a photographer mother and a builder father, I was somewhat ushered into the design industry with an ingrained understanding of balance and composition combined with practical onsite know-how.Academically trained as an interior design in South Africa, where the projects I worked on where primarily high end new-build residential, I moved to London where I worked with the incredible duo that is Turner Pocock for five and a half years before staring my own studio.My style reflects this cross pollination of contemporary and traditional. Mixing the blank slate thinking of South Africa with a distinct nod to the more traditional homes and interiors in the UK.Each project is a collaborative experience between me and the client, where my client's leave having a clear understanding of the home I've helped to create for them.My passion has always been fashioning liveable spaces with a focus on texture and a play between strong aesthetics and practical living. The homes I create are well rounded and full of depth.
