Growing up with a family obsessed with cars and their mechanical components, I always assumed that I would want to be a Mechanical Engineer. It was not until attending college where I realized the reason for my love of cars: the stunning sites that I could witness while riding in one. Thus, I focused on land development as I began my career in Civil Engineering.I joined Redniss & Mead in July 2016 as a Staff Engineer and had the pleasure of apprenticing with really outstanding Civil Engineers in their design work. I made sure to continuously ask questions because it isn’t enough to just accept something as a standard, but rather to understand why or how. From starting with Redniss & Mead and throughout my career, I have enhanced my skills from a technical perspective in Civil Engineering and continue to do so as new technologies and best practices emerge. Obtaining my Professional Engineer License during my position at Tetra Tech was a major milestone in my career and solidified my status as a strong technical Civil Engineer.My latest journey with Bergmann, recently merged into Colliers Engineering & Design, started my Project Management path. I have had a number of amazing mentors who taught me how to manage staff, clients, workload, financials, etc. My main area of expertise is managing program work. Focusing on creating standards, libraries, guidance documents, templates, etc. were all paramount to managing a successful program to meet the client's expectation. As my project management journey continues, I am seeking to continue to grow the clientele I can represent and lead more successful projects.With the skillset I am continuing to expand, I hope to lead on projects that positively impact the world we all live in. Dealing with conflicts of the future, such as climate change and rising sea levels, are always an upmost concern of mine.
